VAR Support System
The APPX Online VAR Support System allows licensed resellers to generate their own temporary licenses for a variety of purposes, including evaluation, marketing, system-down emergencies, and more.
To access the OVSS, you must have a current version of the APPX Desktop Client, to establish a connection between your desktop and the APPX OVSS Server.
If you don't already have it on your computer, download and install the APPX Desktop Client software. Simply download the installation file and then execute it.
The APPX Desktop Client will be added to your start menu.
When you run the APPX Desktop Client, you should select the "Remote" tab and enter the following connection information:
Login appxvar
Password appxvar
Server var.appx.com
Server Port 8090
VAR Forms
The following forms are provided for the use of APPX Resellers, in support of their customers. These forms are Adobe Acrobat form files, which may be completed electronically and/or printed out with Adobe Acrobat Reader software (free download from Adobe.com).

The Online Customer Support System allows customers on maintenance to generate their own emergency “system-down” temporary registrations whenever needed.
Per Incident Support
APPX users without an annual support plan can receive technical assistance from APPX Software, Inc., on a per-incident basis. Pricing will vary.
Releases
The products listed on this page are used when connecting a desktop client computer to a server where APPX is installed and licensed. In a single-user installation, the appropriate Server Release should be installed first, followed by these optional add-on products.

Maintenance expiration dates are shown on your APPX License Key, alongside product code MNT. Any version of APPX with a later release date than the expiration of maintenance will not run.
